Claudia Montani attended St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, where she graduated magna cum laude with a BA in English/Communications Arts. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Ms. Montani was raised in a Spanish speaking household, surrounded by the food and culture of her Argentinian parents. After a brief stint with Texas Child Protective Services, Ms. Montani went on to study at St. Mary’s University School of Law, which gave her the opportunity to attend the Institute on World Legal Problems in Innsbruck Austria with then Chief Justice Rehnquist as a visiting professor. She spent her early years in the practice of criminal law, beginning in the El Paso District Attorney’s Office and eventually establishing a successful career as an Assistant Federal Public Defender in the Western and Northern Districts of Texas.

Ms. Montani has always had a passion for fighting for the underdog and the disenfranchised. She began working in personal injury in 2012 and has been with the Law Office of Domingo Garcia, PC since 2016. Ms. Montani grew up in the DFW Metroplex, living in Oak Cliff since 2009, where she enjoys the many shops, restaurants and activities the area has to offer.
